Last week we took part in the Translink Travelwise Initiative which encourages us all to adopt a healthy lifestyle and walk to school. Many of our pupils travel to school by bus, so this is not physically possible, but last week a good number of parents and children walked, cycled or scooted to school. Well done to all those who were able to add some steps into their day. We will forward on our total daily walkers to the organisers.
Article 24 of the UNCRC reminds us of the importance of staying healthy and developing a healthy lifestyle.
