P3 have been taking part in shared education with St. Mary's Primary school in Aughnacloy on a Friday. The children are learning about the famous author Julia Donaldson together and have read Stick man and Superworm. The children have loved working with their new friends from St. Mary's and have created freeze frame scenes from stick man in groups, as well as interviewing Superworm with their partner.
To follow on from Superworm on Friday, P3 went out on a mini beast hunt to find the different characters from the story! The children loved investigating the Minibeast hotel with their magnifying glasses and we found LOTS of little minibeasts. The children enjoyed collecting the minibeasts carefully to have a closer look and then releasing them carefully back into their natural habitat! Good fun was had by all!
