This week we welcomed Darren in to our class for the first of our Roots of Empathy lessons. He introduced us to the programme and we made some predictions about baby Ella, including how big we thought she would be and what she would be able to do when she came in to visit us for the first time. We looked at some pictures of baby's faces and thought about how the babies were feeling. Darren introduced us to the word EMPATHY and we considered what it means to have empathy. We are looking forward to baby Ella's first visit next week and cannot wait to get into the programme. We are delighted to have a member of our school staff trained as a Roots of Empathy instructor.
