Roots of Empathy Baby Ella and her Mum Visit P3 and P4 (June 1st 2018)
On Friday we were joined by Baby Ella and her Mummy for our Roots of Empathy Programme. This is the second last visit for the year. This week we were learning about what Baby Ella eats and the different foods she enjoys. We noticed how active Ella is now. She found it hard to sit still during her visit. She wanted to keep moving and liked to stand up on her feet and be held around the waist by her Mummy. She enjoyed playing with the toys Darren gave her and she didn't want to lie down on the green blanket or over the rolling pillow. Ella has got longer and is certainly much more interested in those around her. Many of us got a big smile when she went around the circle this week. She really enjoyed our singing and she swayed from side to side as we sang Twinkle Twinkle to her. She moved one of her arms back and forwards. She has had some new teeth since we last saw her and when Charlie was playing with Ella on the blanket, he spotted some of the little white teeth on the bottom gums. We enjoyed Ella's visit today and look forward to seeing her again very soon.
