Roots of Empathy - Sleep
Our next theme in Roots of Empathy is sleep. This week Darren read us a story entitled, 'Hush.' We learnt about the different stages of sleep and talked about how we all need sleep to help us grow, develop and stay healthy. We are looking forward to baby Ella's visit next week and we will be able to ask Mrs Wilson some questions about how Ella sleeps. On Friday some boys and girls brought in some of the cuddly teddies and blankets they had when they were babies. Some of us still take our favourite comforts to bed with us today. We have enjoyed finding out about what our sleep habits were like when we were babies, through our finding out homework this week. A big thanks to all the parents who took time to answer all the questions about your child's sleep habits when they were a baby. We have compiled all the information into a booklet and added it to our Roots of Empathy display in school.
