Maureen visited the P.3 and P.4 class today and introduced us to our new theme of study - sleep. Over the next number of weeks we are going to be finding out all about the importance of sleep and the different sleeping patterns that we have as we grow up. Next week we will have a special Roots of Empathy homework based on our new theme. We listened to a story called, 'Hush' which told about a mother who tried to make all the noises in the jungle disappear so that her baby could sleep soundly. We enjoyed listening to the story and had a lot to discuss about our own sleeping patterns. We just love it when Maureen comes in and are especially looking forward to baby Leah visiting us again next Thursday.
