Today we had a visit from a representative from the RNLI. Peter came in to school to tell us all about the vital work that the charity do. We were amazed to learn that 95% of the RNLI staff are volunteers. We watched a dvd which showed the intense training that the RNLI staff undertake. It was a very interesting talk and we were able to ask some questions at the end. We are so glad that we have chosen the RNLI as our chosen charity for the year. Who knows when any of us will require the services of the RNLI. We are looking forward to raising funds for the charity. Watch out for events throughout the year.
