Thanks to Stephanie from Timesteps, the boys and girls in Mrs Moore’s class enjoyed an interactive workshop experiencing first hand what it was like to be a child during WWII. Everyone dressed up for the day and had immense fun learning about life as an evacuee child. It was so well portrayed that some even wondered if the train was indeed coming to pick us up and take us to the countryside. Well done to Harry who won a NewsDesk competition enabling Stephanie to come to school. A fantastic prose to win and a fun time was had by everyone. Don’t they all look amazing! Living History at its very best.
