P6 and P7 Pupils Make Eco-Speak Speeches in Assembly
This morning in assembly we were all well educated and entertained by some Primary 6 and 7 pupils who wanted to share their Homework for this week. Everyone in Mrs Porter and Mrs Kelly's classes have been extremely busy writing persuasively to draft speeches on the topic of Waste and Recycling using the blue bin and how it makes a difference. We were all very impressed with the standard and effort that had gone into each presentation. The boys and girls spoke confidently and used facts and statistics to reinforce their ideas. Many had props and jingles or poems to catch our attention. A massive well done to everyone for all their hard work. It is not going to be easy to choose just one pupil to represent our school at the Eco-Speak Competition in April. Everyone should be extremely proud of themselves for their efforts. There are some future politicians and speakers in our midst. Well done to each and everyone. The photographs show a number of pupils making their speeches in assembly on Friday. More to follow later next week.
