Mrs Moore's P4 boys and girls spent an enjoyable morning at St Mary's this morning. We looked at the 4th and final voice in the story, Voices in the Park. The voice of Smudge, the little girl. We discussed the character and decided that she was a happy, contented, bright and cheery girl, who was kind and liked to make her father happy. We noticed that all of the pictures with Smudge were bright and had lots of colour compared to other characters. Today we worked with our partners to create a collage of a scene from the book with Smudge in it. Mrs Donnelly had gathered up some fantastic materials for us to use to make our collage. We enjoyed working with the foam, tissue paper, pipe cleaners lolly pop sticks and match sticks to create our colourful scenes. We look forward to displaying our finished work in school.
