We welcomed Mrs Donnelly's class to school on Friday 11th November for the third of our Shared Education classes with Primary 4 pupils. We looked at the third voice in the story, Voices in the Park. This week it was the voice of one of the children, Charles. We explored his feelings and how he changed throughout the story. We used some excellent words to describe the character of Charles, eg. bored, lonely, frustrated, alone, sad, miserable, anxious, disappointed, worried, nervous, excited, free and happy. This week we used paint to depict some of the scenes in the story which feature the character of Charles. Everyone had a great time, working with their partners from St. Mary's and we are looking forward to visiting with our friends in St. Mary's on Friday 18th November again. We are really enjoying working together.
