Library Visit by P4 and P6 Pupils
The boys and girls in P4 and P6 paid a visit to Dungannon Library on Monday morning. They had a super morning finding out about the services available in the library and meeting some of the staff who work there. We were able to look at all the different range of books available and found out about the Dewey decimal system for sorting non-fiction books. Our guides were really impressed with all the knowledge we had of authors and books. We had a super visit and hope to go back again soon. Ciara read the P4 boys and girls a funny story before we left. A great morning, enjoyed by all. Thank-you Mrs Clarke for letting us out to see one of our local libraries. There are lots of different activities available throughout the day in Dungannon library. We learnt that borrowing books is free and you can borrow up to 9 books at a time, for 3 weeks or more. You can return borrowed books to any library in Northern Ireland. Dungannon Library is open 6 days a week and opens late on Thursday evenings. If you are not already a member, it is very easy to sign up. Just pop along to the front desk and one of the helpful librarians will help you to complete the appropriate forms.
