We took advantage of the lovely bright and sunny weather this week. We went outside with a partner and some chalk and practiced writing our spellings on the ground. We had great fun guessing which word our partner was writing. This is a great way to get tricky words into our heads. We also wrote the words in the air, using large movements, another good way to remember tricky words. Lastly, we sang some of our rhymes, which we sing with Maureen during Roots of Empathy sessions and used some movements to go along with the songs. It is just great to get outside into the fresh air.
