Gardening With Primary 3 and Primary 4

The boys and girls in Mrs Moore's Primary 3 and 4 class have been very busy planting seeds. We have drawn up a class rota and are taking it in turns to water the seedlings in the poly tunnel. We are keeping a record of how well our plants are growing. We have already transplanted some flowers into bigger pots. Now that the weather appears to be warming up a little, we have even planted out some peas and strawberries directly into our raised bed. We planted some potatoes into sacks in the poly tunnel and we are happy to report that the first signs of green shoots have been reported today! (Monday 25th April, 2016) Things are starting to look good for us to have our own dinner in school in the near future! Some photographs to follow soon, showing the process and progress of our growing adventures. We just love being outside and learning about planting and growing.
