On Friday, Mr Mills and Darren took some Key Stage 2 boys and girls to Cookstown to play football in the annual Tri-County Football Competition. Everyone played very well and showed excellent sportsmanship. Each pupil represented our school well and were a credit to their parents and teachers. The rain stayed away and a fun day was had by all. The team didn't bring home any silverware, but certainly did not let themselves down. The competition was very tight, with our pupils competing against schools which are much bigger than our own. Despite the huge competition, our team managed to score a total of 6 goals and won two of their matches. Well done to everyone.
Article 15 reminds us that Every child has the right to meet with other children and to join groups and organisations, as long as this does not stop other people from enjoying their rights.
