Aughnacloy Primary School has a new addition to its school garden! The yet to be named, bright pink 'Rolypig' is in fact a composter! Last year our Eco-Council organised a non-uniform day to raise funds for this innovative composter which has been designed to generate more compost, at a faster rate, from organic waste produced in school.
Over the next few weeks the Eco-Council will be running a 'Name the Pig' competition within school. Keep an eye out for more pictures of our first generation compost!
