Donne Delivers Heart-Start Workshops with P1-P4
Donne has been speaking to all our Foundation and Key Stage One boys and girls about how to stay safe and what we can do when we discover an accident and need to make a response in an emergency. We have learnt the special telephone number which we can use to reach the emergency services, eg. police, fire brigade and ambulance. We considered the different types of questions we might be asked when we make an emergency call. We also learnt about the steps we can take when someone has an accident, eg. falls off their bike. We enjoyed completing worksheets and role playing an emergency situation. Lots of volunteers, to be patients and first aiders/ responders. We are learning vital, life saving techniques. Who knows when we might need to use the skills we have learnt.
