Big Spring Clean at the Eco-Park!

On Wednesday 11th May, the Eco-council and a group of willing helpers from P6/7 AND P3/4 carried out a Big Spring Clean at the Eco-Park, Aughnacloy. Jill Eagleson, Lisa, Brian and Ted from Mid-Ulster Council, joined us to give the Eco-park a mini-makeover. We had great fun gathering up all the litter in the park- just look at all the bag we collected! It was easy to separate the rubbish into recyclable and non-recyclable material. We noticed some dog fouling so helped to dispose of this responsibly. We are now going to design some posters to discourage littering to display in the local area. A good morning's work by all involved! Nothing better than the outdoor classroom!
