Maureen visited school today as part of our Roots of Empathy Programme. We read the book today entitled, Daniel's Day by Mary Gordon. The theme we are focussing on this week is Sleep and today we discussed dreams and we all thought about a time that we had a dream. Children were able to talk about their dreams and wrote and drew pictures to put in a class book. Last week we started to take turns and bring baby Izzy home for a few days to share our Roots of Empathy work with our families. So far, Jamie, Jenson and Emma have been able to bring Izzy home to share with their family. We are all really enjoying our Roots of Empathy Programme every week. Through this programme we are able to explore many of our Rights, particularly Articles 7 and 12.
