Roots of Empathy Classwork 23rd February, 2017

23rd Feb 2017

Today Maureen was in school to deliver the next part of our Roots of Empathy Programme. In theme 6 we have been learning about how to keep a baby safe and also how to keep ourselves safe at home. We learnt about lots of different dangers and how to avoid accidents. We have been looking at home for danger and warning signs and symbols. We have noticed that these symbols can be found on many everyday objects that we all have at home, eg. washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, deodorant cans etc. We all have learnt a lot about how to keep ourselves safe and know what to do and who to contact in an emergency. Thank-you to Maureen for helping us to learn about being safe. Article 32 reminds us that Governments must protect children from work that is dangerous or might harm their health or education.
