Roots of Empathy - Baby Ella's December Visit

13th Dec 2017

On Friday morning, Baby Ella and her Mummy joined us in class. We were learning about how to prepare for a baby and look after his or her needs. Mrs Wilson shared with us some of the different things that she has to pack into Ella's baby bag. It was really interesting to find out about all the various items that a baby requires on a daily basis. We were able to see and touch the different items and ask questions. We learnt a lot about what Ella likes and how many bottles she takes in a day etc. We noticed that Ella is really growing and her hair is getting darker and longer. She was much more interested in the toys that Darren introduced and she watched us all very carefully. She enjoyed our singing and turned her head to see who was speaking when we asked questions. She liked the round pillow today and stayed propped up on it for much longer this time. We gave Ella some little presents for her first Christmas, a little decoration for the Christmas tree and also a stocking for Santa to put her presents in. We hope Santa brings Ella something nice. Another great morning with our little teacher.
