Our Harvest Service

28th Oct 2016

We had a great morning at Aughnacloy Presbyterian Church on Friday 28th October, 2016 when we held our annual Harvest Service. We were delighted to see the church so well filled with parents, grandparents, members of our Board of Governors and friends to see our pupils perform with songs, bible readings, prayers and drama all telling us about God's goodness to us and reminding us of our responsibility to say thank-you to God for his provision. We enjoyed entertaining you all and we hope that you enjoyed listening to us as well. We thank Rev. Ian McKee for the children's address and all the volunteers from our PTA who helped serve out the vegetable soup and wheaten bread in the hall. Mrs Porter's class worked so hard to prepare the vegetable soup and it went down very well with the lovely wheaten bread, provided by The Diamond Bakery, Aughnacloy. Thank-you to everyone who supported us today. All donations made will be forwarded to the RNLI as it is our chosen charity for the year. We are looking forward to welcoming a representative from the charity to school at the beginning of November. We look forward to raising more money for this very worthwhile cause.
