What are the Governors’ responsibilities?
The Governors are ultimately responsible for the overall management of the school. They are required to meet for a minimum of 3 times each year, but in practice they meet more than this. Some of their duties include

Providing parents with information
The selection of staff
Maintenance of school premises (a shared responsibility with the Southern
